MusiCoLab provides comprehensive support for Philadelphia's musical theater creators through programs designed to nurture talent, provide resources, and build community.
Want to join us? Be sure to sign up for our mailing list for all the latest invites and information.
Our monthly gatherings create a space where musical theater creators share works-in-progress, receive feedback, connect with collaborators, and discuss craft. These sessions foster artistic growth while building a supportive creative network.
Regular virtual sessions offer accessible support between in-person events, providing quick feedback on creative questions and opportunities to connect with the MusiCoLab team and fellow writers.
We connect experienced musical theater professionals with emerging writers and composers for tailored feedback, career guidance, and ongoing support throughout the creative process.
Launching in 2025, this new fund provides micro-grants for self-produced readings, workshops, and performances, plus financial assistance for recording demos and creating developmental materials.
Planned for Fall 2025, this event will connect Philadelphia-area musical theater creators with decision-makers from local and regional theater companies through curated presentations, panel discussions, and facilitated meetings.
MusiCoLab now provides part-time compensation for our Artistic Director and General Manager, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for our creative community.
